ARCHITECTURE
Meow Collective, founded by Maarten Weyns and Omar Kashmiry, is an architecture office dedicated to crafting spaces that celebrate the social essence of living. With extensive experience in residential projects, ranging from thoughtful renovations to innovative new constructions, the duo focuses on creating welcoming environments that reflect the unique character and stories of those who inhabit them. At Meow Collective, architecture is a collaborative process, aiming to design homes that truly feel like home.
COMMUNITY-BUILDING
Meow collective creates inclusive, vibrant and playful public spaces by engaging a broad range of local actors and professionals in the design process. By amplifying underrepresented voices and embedding local stories into the design, we strive to reflect the rich diversity of the city within its public spaces. Acting as a bridge between architects, landscape designers, local governments, non-profits organisations, and residents, Meow collective aims to democratise the creation of public spaces. Through collective analysis, workshops, events, interventions, and feedback loops, we collaboratively shape designs that meet the unique needs of each neighbourhood.
